hELLO Everyone,
I have jejunal crohns diganozed a year ago by capsule endoscopy, latest blood test results show neutrophil leucocytosis and thrombocytosis, and the words reactive picture, also CRP of 16. Is this typical of crohns Disease?
Also my very icky question is that I am doing white stools with lots of mucus wrapped around them, is this normal for a crohns sufferer? Do I need to mention this to my doctor?
My last question is does anyone else have referred pain, last week my husband called an ambulance to take me to hospital as I was in excruciating pain.
The pain was in my shoulder, down my left arm and in my chest, I thought I was having a heart attack.
all heart tests were normal.
Sorry for all the questions, hope someone can help me.

White stools can mean there is a problem with the liver, or in my case, a gallstone blocking the ducts that the liver empties bile into. You might want to call your doctor about that asap. It was presented to me as a very serious sign of a problem. Then again I was in horrible pain then waiting for the painkillers so I could have heard things wrong. Never hurts to call though.
diagnosed w/Crohn's 11/06, solving the mystery of years of on/off abdominal pain. No more "it's just a virus". 34f with 2 boys, a lovable dog, and a wonderful husband. 150 mg Imuran, bentyl, vicodin as needed, omeprazole, fish oil, sublingual B12, metoprolol for orthostatic hypotension and heart palpitations. Bowel resection 9/07. Doc says no active disease, but flare-ups anyway. 11 year old son with IBS-C, on Bentyl.

No such thing as icky questions here. Your doctors need to know about anything abnormal, regardless of how embarrassing it might be.
