I have officially been off prednisone for 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATS!!! Seems like it takes forever to get there doesn't it? After tomorrow I go down to 5mg, so I'm not far behind ya! :)
Diagnosed with Crohn's Disease 2/06 after sever GI bleed. Has been suffering since 1998. History of rectal fistula and gallbladder removal. Currently taking Prednisone: tapered to 10 mg *eek*, Asacol, Questran, Toprol XL (for high blood pressure).

Good for you, hope you continue to feel better and that you never have to go on that dreaded pred again.

YAAHHH!!!! That's awesome!!!! I'm at 20mg so I still have a few weeks yet but hopefully not too far behind ya!!! :-)
Living with Crohn's Disease since Jan./2000 but had a few years prior
I'm a true Crohnie with IBS too
Meds I have tried:  Too many to list- LOL
Meds currently on:  Prednisone 20mg tapering
                           Methotrexate injections once a week 25mg
                           Folic Acid 5mg once a week
No Surgeries

Yeehaw, dont you just hate being on it?  I am tapering to 30mg tomorrow, the sides are not nice.  Dont care about the moon face, just want my arthritis to knock it off! Congrats!  Keep well! yeah
