The nausea is overwhelming. If you've ever been pregnant, it's the equivalence of STRONG morning sickness. I've puked up a potato and a diet coke already.. and I feel like the chicken noodle soup, crackers, and sprite could go any minute.

I have Diarrhea, blood, mucous, but I'm less than 48 hours from a Remicade treatment.

I have taken 9 pain pills over the course of 2 days... but have only taken tylenol since 8am this morning. I have had horrible sweat to freezing. No fever.. can't imagine this is a flu bug, but I could be wrong...

Do you have nausea with your Crohn's? I'm sure the sweats and puking could all be related to pain pills..

Just look for any and all input here...

Never had obstructions, and I've been passing pretty much straight water. No pains either. I'm on the phone with the GI. They'd see me tomorrow, but it's 3 hour drive and that would only make it worse, so think I'm going to have my family doctor run some blood to check my hemoglobins and then prescribe some nausea meds... i'm pretty miserable..

I have Moderate C, and alot of the time have all your symptoms listed, except the blood. When I've went thru this, I just keep telling myself that it's just a matter of time till it resides. For me it's been a month to many months at a time, with those symptoms. Tried dif. diets, trying to stay off pain meds. for me nothing has worked, so if you find something that helps...please let me know!!! Hope you start feeling better.

I am technically in remission. But I always have nausea. I take Zofran 8 mg every morning (doesn't make you drowsy) and Phenergan every night (helps me to sleep). I would also try to stay on a liquid diet. My GI said that when I am having severe nausea to sip Gatorade every five minutes. If the sugar in Gatorade bothers you, you can dilute it, but keep taking a sip every five minutes. Another thing that might help is the Pedialyte drinks. You are probably getting dehydrated. Banana's will help to up your Potassium too. I would try to get into a see a doctor asap. If you let it go on, it's just going to get worse. (((BIG HUGS))) and hope you get feeling better soon.

Thanks for all the quick replies... here's what I know..

My GI could see me tomorrow (well, the NP, but same difference in a situation like this). But, it's a 3 hour trip (only downfall to having a GI that far) and it would likely make me sicker. I called my family doctor, but since I voiced my concerns that this might be more anemia then anything, they recommended I just head to the ER to get some fluids, have my blood counts checked, and get some nasuea meds...

I REALLY do not like the ER!!! I'm debating on not going...very unusual of me. I follow doctor's orders... but I'd rather just "deal" with it until my Remicade it sit in the ER...then again, I think the fluids might actually help me... UGH!

I would go to the ER. You are counting on this Remicade infusion to fix you asap. From what I have heard it usually takes a few infusions before you start experiencing relief. Why suffer? Go get yourself some fluids and pain/nausea meds. I am sure that will help immensely. Good luck~!

Sorry to hear you are having such a rough time. I think I would go to the ER also. You might feel much better with IV fluids and a shot of gravol. Why are you on pain meds? I was on remicade for 1 1/2 years, and it did take a few months to work for me. I think you should deal with this at the ER, just incase you go for your remicade treatment and they decide to hold off until you are feeling better. I hope you find relief soon.

Take care,
Julia
