I have had crohns for about 18 yrs now and have tried quite a few medications in an attempt to get it under control without much luck.  I have been on Humira for a bit over a year now and just had a colonoscopy on Monday and and my Dr. said there was marked improvement with my crohns and very little inflamation.  That is the best report I have ever received in 18 yrs.  The Humira seems to be doing the trick.  Just thought I would share so others can see there is hope.

Great News! I've been on Humira weekly for several months now and it's treating me very well. Tommorrow is my 2 year anniversary of my 1st resection. Here's hoping I get good news on my next colonoscopy and SBFT too!

I do feel great.  I have put on weight and am not fatigued.  I am concerned that someday I will have to stop taking it and what other things it may be doing to me (cancer) but I guess there is a trade off for everything. And who knows, when my time on this runs out maybe there will be something else new. Good luck to all of you waiting for your first scope since you've started Humira.
