Does anybody know how long Remicade stays in your system after you stop taking it?

i don't know, but a quick wikipedia search::
shows a dose of 5mg per kilogram if you weigh 155 lbs >> (or about 70 kilograms)
then your dose of 5mg times 70 = 350 mg of infliximab (remicade is brand name and also includes sucrose and sodium stuff during this infusion of infliximab into bloodstream)
and with a suggested frequency of 6-8 weeks,,, kinda suggests that your body can do "something" with this dose amount, in 6-8 weeks before it needs another dose. (I hope this helps, but i don't know if any actually remains after discontinuance or if i even calculated this correctly.)
I also know your kidneys filter your bloodstream ....process about 200 quarts of blood to sift out about 2 quarts of waste products and extra water. (a day!)

The half life of Remicade in the body is 21 says. Then in theory, it should all be cleared from the system in 42 days.
