Please help - Constipation and stricture

Hi, I am getting constipate sometimes. Last saturday i thought i was going to faint in the toilet, i had so much pain and nothing was coming out, stools were in the middle way and i did not know what to do. Finally i did and there was blood as well, the sensation was like that i had a cork in there and suddly was taken out . I have stricture, i  do not know  if this is a obstruction or not??? Anyone here to help, which  have similar situation. Thanks :-)

Hello Krica,

I'm sorry you are experiencing this! I haven't had this myself, but I do think you need to see your Doc very soon. If it is a stricture, you want it taken care of it before it becomes critical. Let us know how it goes!

I use stool softners daily to keep things moving smoothly. They bring the water to the stool to soften things and help them move more easily. Good luck!
Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.
