anytime i have an extra bad crohn's day (increased pain, diaherra etc).  within 24 hours i get a muscle cramp in my butt and my legs start aching.  it usually happens in the evening and goes all night.  the next morning it's much better but still a little sore...i thought at first it was a pinched nerve but it only happens on a extra bad day crohn's day, so i'm assuming it's got to do with that.  it starts with my legs aching like the flu and then my butt muscle cramps up really bad and no matter how much i stretch it, it doesn't relieve itself until the next morning.  what could be the reason this happens, and has it happened to anyone else.  my sister has crohn's but she hasn't had this problem.

me too!!! me too!! I never had this problem in the past. With this flare this spring/summer, the sciatica, back spasms, and leg cramps have been terrible. I had a lot of right side pain yesterday and today is just a terrible back/leg pain day. I keep thinking I need exercise but time on my feet seems to make it worse. I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you but misery does love company!

When I am having a bad day, I always have bad joint pain. There are days when it seems like all the bones in my back side hurt, from my spine to my hips. I also get a really bad pain in my upper right abdomen that runs around to my back. Those types of pains are always when my gut is in a tizzy.
Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.
