Does anyone know if you come down with a cold, is it ok to still do your injection?? I forgot to ask my
doctor on Friday.  My son has been real sick the past two weeks and I feel it coming on here tonight.
I believe my husband has it as he was in bed tonight before 8pm. (Very unlike him)   So I know I
am doomed.

Usually my doc has me skip until I feel better.

Call the doctor on call. I took methotrexate for quite a while and hated it. I think checking in with doctor would be your best bet.

I did not want to skip my dose so I did not call my doc. I eventually got over it. Uhmmm you are not supposed to take mtx if you have an infection and for some reason its the respritory infections they really go nuts over.
