Sorry to be asking all these Methotrexate questions.  Being new to it I don't know a whole lot.
Anyone on it have problems with high blood pressure??   My blood pressure was high when I went
to the doctors last week and its NEVER high.  I'm all worried about it and going to go check it
this weekend at walmart.   I didn't think to ask doc about it and he didn't say anything either but
the nurse said it was high. Like 140 over 84 I think is what it was.   I feel my face has alot of pressure
and my eyes so I'm worried I feel like this because its high and its really bothering me.
I'm down to 15mg of the prednisone this week.   Maybe the combo of the two is making it higher?

Yes, I am on methotrexate and have high blood pressure. I take diovan for that. Prednisone can raise your blood pressure, that might be it.
140/84 isn't very high, although abnormal by today's standards. Its worth keeping an eye on it though

I haven't noticed any new pattern with my blood pressure now that I am on methotrexate. I didn't take my bp that frequently while on the higher doses of prednisone but the times I did take it, it was ok.
