What type of a report did you receive when you had your capsule done.  Mine said normal but I was hoping for a more descriptive report about exactly what parts it looked at, etc... and when it stopped working...
Thanks

My capsule endoscopy report was fairly brief.

It listed the time the capsule was in my stomach (only about 10 minutes), and the time it was in my small intestine (about 4 hours).

Then it said no polyps, strictures or bleeding was seen, but numerous ulcers were found in the distal ileum, indicative of Crohn's.

Attached at the end it had a few screen captures showing the ulcers.

That's all it had.

Mine was very similar to beave's report. It listed the transit time [from mouth to anus in 6 hours and 52 minutes]. It said no lesios or ulcerations noted but due to short transit time there were too few pictures taken in the small bowel. Then the second page had several small snapshots of the intesinal mucosa.

I asked to see mine and all I got back was "normal." I wanted to see a movie! :)
49 y/o woman.  Diagnosed 4/06 after colonscopy, SBFT, CT-scan all showed crohns. 3 months later, after pred and remicade, all tests showed no crohns. December '06 had adhesions cut through a laparoscopy. Now taking Glycolax, Ultra Fiber Plus, Florastor, and DHEA. Have become gluten-free diet per naturopath's tests.
