I am in real strife with my hips today and have trouble standing and walking. Have just cried my way through my shower because it hurt so much, but at least it's done sad

Keep things really small today. Do basic chores - shower (done), make bed, do dishes, 15 minutes tidying. Rescue cats from the cattery where they had to stay while I was having all my medical stuff done.

Brownie points if I wipe down surfaces with a duster so they look clean, even if they haven't been polished for a while. I'd like to say I'd clean the bathroom, which hasn't been done for a while now, but I'm pretty sure it won't happen.

I sad

The dog is the same-his ear flap is still full of fluid but he does not seem to be in pain. I am feeding him prednisone and benedryl so he is spending most of his time sleeping.
My pact for tomorrow is to finish the July billing (I worked on it yesterday and today so not much left).
Get the house ready for my housekeeper so she can do her job.
Work all day.
Call my sister ( I tried today but no answer).
Eat healthy while still getting enough calories.

I was away all weekend at my mother's house in Dover and I definetly ate enough but it was junk-(the cheesecake at the all you can eat buffet is just too good). So now time to get back on track-healthy food with enough calories....

I have'nt been able to pact the last few days as I have been bed and toilet ridden and am currently plopped in front of the computer like the corpse from the movie 'Weekend at Bernies".
My pact for Tuesday is to try and get enough fluids in and sleep (called in sick for work already).
I have called Gastro and cant get in till 27th Aug so have upped the dreaded pred from 10mg to 20mg till I see her, hope it kicks in soon.
Sorry to hear your hips are troubling you Ivy, also sorry to hear about your sick dog Sj - hope all will do better soon. Jo (back to bed for me)

Jo, what's gone wrong? Toilet-ridden is not good, especially so soon after surgery...

Me - have rescued the cats and done the dishes and sat in the sun for a bit, but haven't done much else and have no intention of feelign guilty about it, either. Ouch... Sounds like we're all crook today...
