OK, it's 5pm and I'm here to check in.
Have swept and mopped two floors but haven't done the lounge room floor *and* the suitcase is *still* there, unpacked... Something tells me it may end up being on Thursday's list of things to do
I went to the doctor by taxi, did the pathology, and then got brave and decided to see if I could walk part of the way home. I managed two or three blocks; crashed with exhaustion by the time I reached the library and caught a taxi home with a bag-full of books and a couple of essential groceries. However, at least I went to the library and talked to people! And the exercise is done too, even if the stretching isn't.
sjkly, don't feel guilty about
not doing as much as I am. I am actually doing better than I have for at least ten years. This is me, relatively (for me) healthy, even if I am still in pain. A lot of this activity is me trying to catch up on things that have been neglected for a decade. If you're sick, you're sick, and you do what you can.
Jo, that's really not good that you're so unwell. Can you put in an emergency call to your doctor, or just go to casualty? *hug* I really am sorry. What a horrible setback, just when you were starting to improve. This disease is so unfair... (btw, will you be able to get to Sam's graduation, or is your health getting too bad for that?)
Go, April, go! What an inspiring list!!
I'm still recovering from my afternoon out. Will go and make dinner and watch an episode of "Press Gang" (borrowed on DVD from the library - remember that show, Jo?) and maybe think about
doing another floor later tonight when perhaps I'll have a bit more energy.
Oh, I have to share this: at the shops I bought a loaf of wholemeal bread, just to see if I can eat it. Talk about
exciting - it's my first piece of non-white bread in six years. Am going to start with one slice only, just to see what happens.
