I'm on pred of course so that is to be expected. Have been on pred for 6 months. Started at 50mg and the full blown snack attacks hit me at about 20mg. If it doesnt move I eat it. Then I eat some more. I know this is normal however I am now only on 2mg of pred and while the munchies have definitely improved, if I make a concerted effort to exert some will power, I find that I am still pretty hungry and can eat huge amounts. have put on weight - about 7kgs (no idea in pounds) but I could afford to put that on. However that is enough now :-) I was just wondering if anyone still experienced an increased appetite at such a low dose. I am pain free though which is great. Just seem to be becoming festively plump...

Thanks for any input

Hi Tink I know when I was on pred. I gained about 3 good turkey's in weight and your festive remark made me chuckle. I guess if your down that far you"ll probably be off it soon.I am just now loosing the moon face after being off it for 4months. Of course I been a bit busier lately too .Perhaps it does take a little effort am glad your feeling better. lol gail
