Hi all-
I thought this posted yesterday, but I couldn't find it. OK, I'm so confused about the serology 7. My doctor used this to diagnosis me about 2 years ago. It came back positive for Crohn's. If the test comes back positive does that me you DO have Crohn's? I also had a colonoscopy a few years ago and it showed some inflamation but not a lot. I've been put on asacol (which I take 2 pills at night) and I haven't had many problems with my stomach. I did try getting off of the asacol and got sick. My sister also has Crohn's but hers is severe.
So can anyone shed light on this?

The Serology 7 test is an advanced diagnostic tool used to differentiate between Crohn's & colitis. It is not meant to be a sole diagnostic tool for IBD. I would look to your GI for the answer to that question.......

Mine showed 98% accuracy for UC, but my doctor's have sinced changed my dx from indeterminable colitis to Crohn's.

Crohn's Disease, Acid Reflux/Gastritis, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Endometriosis, Arthritis, Depression/Anxiety.  Too many meds to list them all.  =)
