I wasn't able to access HW yesterday, but my big achievement on Sunday was to get to morning church. I've only managed it twice in the last four years because my symptoms tend to be so severe in the mornings, so that's progress. Church was a big mistake, though. Those hard pews, so early in the morning, wrecked my hips and my back and I've been limping and sore ever since. sad

My week has just been hit for six with the surprise announcement that I may need to make an urgent trip to the city to pick up another batch of Humira. I'm glad to have access to another dose, but it's going to be hard on the bod, especially considering that I haven't recovered from the last trip two weeks ago.

So... Monday:

* basic chores - make bed (almost done), do dishes (almost done), shower, 5x5 minutes tidying, 15 minutes gardening.
* Monday chores, and chores I couldn't finish yesterday because of sore hips - clean toilet, finish cleaning kitchen
* and - do as many of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's chores as I can, because I'll be too tired to clean after travelling.
* Crohn's and fibro care - stay on track with meds, exercise, stretching x 3. Go lowish res so the innards will be in reasonable shape for travelling. SIT DOWN EVERY FIFTEEN MINUTES so I don't exacerbate my pain.
* go to appointments
* think about packed lunch & dinner for travelling
* renew library books

Bonus points - go to discussion group at church. Cook the nice rice recipe I found.

Oh, and watch the gymnastics turn

*sigh* Too much to do...

Ivy.

Ivy-- that is quite a list. Sorry about the sore hips from church (pews always give me a sore back) and the tiring trip coming up. Hope you don't wear yourself out too much.

Sjkly-- congrats to your sister. You know, I started telling at 7 weeks. That's not too much later than your sister. As soon as I had an appointment and got to see the heart beat I couldn't keep the secret.

Since I'm still here, my Monday plans are to keep myself busy:

- Walk
- eat veggies AND fruit of some form
- 1 load laundry
- yoga
- address envelopes for announcements
- read
- get out of the house
- check work emails
- watch olympics

Have a good week everyone!

Fix up my writing sample and write 2 cover letters.
26 Year old married female law student (last year!!). Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night. I also take a birth control pill to allow some fun in my life.

10:00 am update
I'm doing great on my list, but not very well on keeping myself busy. I woke up at 5am, so I've already done yoga, taken a walk, done a load of laundry and dishes, ran an errand and cooked 2 meals. Hubby thinks this is the burst of energy you get for nesting before baby comes, but I think it is just the result of being up early. Maybe I'll crash soon so I can sleep through the day instead of just sitting here and waiting.

How're the rest of you doing?

Fitzy-- good luck with the cover letters and job search. I found writing the letters got a lot easier once I had a couple different versions (I did public interest and firm ones) that I could just tweak for each new application.

Thanks HJ - I'm not overly stressing because I hope to have a job where I've been working the past three years but until I have that in writing I need to keep my options open and not miss the clerkship and on campus interviewing deadlines.

Jo-I agree the best part of being an aunt is giving them back. My other sister has four-two teenagers (one just went off to college) a three year old and an almost 1 year old.

So, sunday I actually got started on putting away some of the clothes that no longer fit me.
Today I worked all day I still need to do dishes, and maybe declutter one more surface.
I also need to update my resume though I may take a couple of days to do that.
