Yup, I couldn't get on either. I hope by now you have gotten some fluids in and are in touch with your doctor. It sounds like maybe you need some IV fluid support at the very least. Boy I wish they could figure out what was going on with all those fevers. rolleyes

darn that stinks that some of us are professionals. But I guess thats why we hang around here, cause we've been there done that, most of the time. Except for you and these fevers, sure do wish they could figure them out. But I am glad you are keeping your fluid intake up.

chicken foot huh? well ok but it better be cooked! ...

and on to the latest.. got the call last night from the GI.. NO MORE REMICADE. expert at the U of W , says no. to risky with the fevers and such and the shakes etc.. afraid of a infection blowup.

so they want to start Humira and antibiotics at the same time. maybe later this week. went in today for X-rays of the ol' abdomen. to see if anything big pops up. not getting a CT cause i need one next month for my lung nodules so they will do the whole thing then. too much radiation , remember?

anyhow feeling better each day. hanging in there. randy

Randy,
I've been going thru about the same ( from whar I read) as you for 21 days now. First day Docs did a CT scan. Found nothing but inflamation. Went home and 2 days later had a colonoscopy. Same thing, they only found inflamation. Went home and fainted or seizured the next day (no one was around and I'm not sure) 5 days later, it was so bad (pain, chills, sweats) I went to ER and they admitted me to hospital. They did a ton of blood tests, another CT scan, 3 time they had me down doing xrays. Nothing changed, it only shows inflamation in Large intestine and Colon, nothing else (like fistulas). Put me on IV fluids, and iV steroids, and Morphine (was later taken off the Morphine as 1 doc. said it can rip apart your guts)

Was sent home 3 days later, with me only being on my Prednisone and Lidocaine Patches. The next day had a GI appt. he started Azathioprine, but he wanted to know if I have a fistula, and wants to do Remicade if there's a fistula, so he set up an Appt. for me to see a surgeon to check for the fistula ( which I know I have from what's going on with female body parts) Went into ER again last Sunday. They put me on IV fluids, and they think I'm having Anxiety and depression ( well from all the constant pain, and all the other symptoms, and meds, I probably do) Anyho, MY appt. for that surgeon to check for fistula is tomorrow. Also going to see family doc tomorrow, for anxiety and depression. Having the sweating and chills going on now..with the ongoing Pain, and other symptoms.
I just wanted you to know that I can relate, really hard to get up from bed or couch, almost always dizzyness, sweating & chills, constant pain in abdomen and back, can't concentrate, can't keep thoughts together...think I'm losing it.

Just hang in there, I keep telling myself, something has to happen to help!!! Take Care.....
