I thought I'd get the thread started because I need this list to keep me going through the day. Today I was great the first couple hours, but then I lost focus. I finally got around to backing up some of my digital photos, a project that needed to be done forever ago. It kept me busy and happy looking at all of the good memories (many of people I've recently lost). I hope Weds I either have this baby or can stay distracted for most of the day:

Weds--
- dr appt-- hopefully baby passes her test and they don't urge me to induce or have a c-sec
- light yoga
- water plants
- scrap book
- walk
- pick up a few groceries

Ivy-- hope you are recovered from your last minute trip
Jo-- Glad you had good results on your bone density test
SJ-- Hope you've had a good week so far, and good luck tackling your resume if you do it. I always hated doing that, but it is so worth it.

HJ,
I always have to keep my resume at least semi-current as I am self employed and work on a contract basis so I am always looking for new contracts.
Good luck with that little one-I will be sending prayers for a safe delivery and a happy healthy baby.
So, today I need to get the house ready for the house keeper and cook dinner.
Eating dinner would be a good idea as well-I have been unable to eat a reasonable amount the last few days-I am also going to make one of the smoothies from the receipes Ivy pointed out to me-they look really good.
For me that is enough for one evening.

Hi inflamed and sjkly,

Thanks so much for starting the Wednesday thread. It's good to know that we're all in this together!

I am back from my marathon twelve-hour trip to the city... my second in two weeks and it was made even more tiring by the train being forty minutes late (!) in getting home. It was almost midnight by the time I got to bed. However, I have another month's supply of Humira, so it was worth it.

I am going to treat myself gently today because I am *worn out*.

* basic chores - make bed, do dishes, 5x5 minutes tidying, shower, 15 minutes gardening.
* daily chores - I'm meant to do all the floors, but today I'll only aim to do one.
* be nice to myself - moisturise my feet, maybe put on some nail polish. Give my hands some tlc, and give myself a facial. Get hair off legs. Eat healthy stuff and cut back on sugar, to compensate for the chocolate etc I ate to keep myself going yesterday.
* be nice to myself cont. - curl up in armchair and read. Maybe watch a video.
* Crohn's and fibro care - get back on track with meds, exercise, stretching x 3.

Optional bonus activities - read Saturday's newspaper. Add to the letter I'm writing. 15 minutes pricing. Cook something for the freezer. Walk down the street and window-shop.

sjkly - I'm glad you liked the smoothie recipes. I tried an adapted version of the banana and peanut butter one to boost myself up before I got on the train yesterday - filling, soothing and satisfying.

Good luck at the doctor's today, inflamed.

Ivy.

Here's a 3.30 pm update from me - done the bed, dishes, shower, gardening and 3x5 minutes tidying. Have done the facial and moisturised the feet, read, watched half a video, and done five minutes (woohoo) of exercise.

The sun's out, so I'm heading out to do a bit more gardening. Might check in a bit later.

Hope everyone's day is going well.

Ivy, plugging on and achieving things in five minute increments.

I havent been able to pact yesterday or today as I have been a bundle of nerves for my daughter to pass her physical. I even upped my pred so I could make the 2 hour trip down with her to encourage her along today. SHE PASSED - FINALLY!
Ivy - 12 hours - I dont know how you do it, two hours in the car there and two hours back was enough for me - I feel like a wrung out dishclothe now.
Hj - I hope your test went well and that the doctors will let nature take its course - still in my prayers
April - what is zumba?
Sj - hows the sinus problem?
Hopefully will be back on track pacting now. Have a great day.

Oh, Jo, what a relief. I had a bad feeling when you disappeared - thought she might have failed and needed your urgent tlc. I am so, so glad for you all. How's Sam? Has she crashed after the anxiety?

My trip - it's about 3.5 hours in the train one way; the problem is that we're in such a remote corner of the state that the trains run infrequently, so I'm stranded in the city for a couple of hours and then have to do the 3.5 hour trip home again. So, it's seven hours travelling and a fair bit of down-time, not twelve hours in the train. Still, it's more than enough for this little Vegemite, especially twice in a fortnight.

My 7.45 pm update is that I've done the exercise and have just about caught up on the dishes, but the hands, legs, stretching and vacuuming remains undone. I've had enough and am going to give myself an early night.

Catch you all in the morning!

Ivy.

PS. Jo, thanks for the letter. It was a treat to find it in my letterbox when I got home last night. I'm bursting with chat, but will save it for later.

PS2. sj, I missed the reference to your sinuses. What's wrong?

Jo-- YAY! I am so happy your daughter passed her exam!
Ivy-- what a trip. Glad you have your humira though.

AFM-- baby passed her test, but we have a strict deadline of saturday now. I also did my grocery errands, dishes and some laundry. I guess that leaves all of the exercise. I have an incentive though, walking is supposed to help bring on labor. I'm crossing my fingers.
