OK, now I'm tired. Amazing how exertion catches up with you 36 hours later. redface Am working in five minute blocks, as that's all I can get the energy & motivation for today.

I left the house messy and the dishes undone in my mad dash to the city on Tuesday, and I'm still trying to catch up. My big pact for today is to put everything away so the house looks tidy again. This is important, as I can't get on and vacuum etc until things are off the floors.

Daily chores - do dishes (done), make bed, shower and wash hair. No gardening because it's so bleak outside.
I'm supposed to do a load of washing, do the mending and do the ironing today, but I'm going to make these chores optional because it's more important that I get the tidying done.

And - chase up a tradesman who's been procrastinating calling me for weeks now rolleyes and do 15 minutes pricing.

If I'm very good and get the house tidy *and* if the Crohn's is back under control (I'm in a mini-flare as I'm almost due for my Humira) I can reward myself by going down the street and buying myself a book and pottering in the craft shop. No tidying = no treat. nono

Super bonus points for doing things like reading the newspaper (Saturday's paper is still sitting on the floor, unread), getting hair off the legs, giving my neglected hands some tlc.

Oh yeah, and exercise, stretch x3 and get back on track with meds.

Ivy, super-tired. redface

Ivy-take good care of yourself and remember that once the basic chores are done and you get your treat some cuddle time on the couch with a comfy blanket is also in order-you need some rest.
I have eaten healthy food all day (in fact did not even eat my usualy planned snack at 3:00) which means that I have had all the basic requirements except dairy-I'm not good with that-and of cource their are not a lot of calories in chicken and veges so right now I am eating a 100 calorie chocolate bar and in a little while will try to stir enough interest to drag myself into the kitchen to make a smoothie.
I wrote a new behavior plan today at work-yeah me.
I spent some time looking at possible contracts which leads me to:

Tomorrow:
I need to update the resume
Work all day
Puat the kitchen back into the same shape the house keeper left it in.

Bonus points if I get my blood work done tomorrow so I have all day Friday free (I will have some chores Friday but not for other people).

sjkly, it sounds as if you've had a super-productive day there. And good on you for eating healthy food all day. What an accompllishment. And the chocolate sounds good too!

You're right about the cuddle and couch time.

Ivy,
Some times at the end of the day a good book and a good bar of chocolate are needed in equal measures. I certainly am not going to eat 500 calories of healthy food after dinner but withchocolate and a fruit smoothy it might be possible.
Have a good evening.

Yay! I've put everything away so the house is tidy again. Have also done a load of washing and 30 minutes gardening.

I'm heading off to buy that book.

Hope everyone else is going well today.

I. :-)
