It's Sunday, but I'm going to be sensible and not go to church, seeing as it left me sore, exhausted and limping for a couple of days after last week's excursion.

I'm making today a mind, body and spirit day:

* Mind - Make my home environment uplifting by keeping it tidy, and by putting flowers in most of the rooms. Meditate. Read some non-fiction. Add to the letter I'm writing.
* Body - Get hair off legs, give myself a manicure and / or pedicure, give myself a facial. Get as much fresh air as I can.
* Spirit - Do church at home. Keep reading my novel, which is pretty heart-warming and uplifting. Make some things to give away. Look in birthday book and see if I need to send any cards this month. Avoid tv and radio.

* Basic chores - make bed, do dishes, 7x5 minutes tidying, 15 minutes gardening.
* Sunday chore - clean kitchen.
* Crohn's & fibro care - exercise, stretching x 3, get on track with meds.

If you're doing the gardening and you're working hard enough to get puffed, does that count as exercise?

Hope everyone has a good day,

Ivy.

PS. Forgot to add: Make a list of shopping & errands to do this week.

Well, my Saturday pacting consisted of hugging the babies-I did a very good job with that. The little one is ten months old and unlike his siblings is going to keep his blue eyes (my whole family has blue eyes but my sister's three oldest all have brown). He is a little cuddle bug. The three year old is frighteningly intellegent and acts like a little adult much of the time. We took them to Chucke Cheese and the three year old insisted I play game with him for over an hour-then I played with the baby while my sister took the three year old to play more games. (that took care of the eating enough too-I love the pizza there).
I still do not feel 100% so my pacting for Sunday will be limited.
Either tonight or tomorrow I need to take the left over chicken and make soup.
I need to get a bit of laundry done
Start my billing
Rest.

Bonus points if I work on my resume and take the dog for a long walk.
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

Today I have a farewell luncheon to attend for my favourite manager so that will be all I will manage today - we are doing barefoot lawn bowls followed by lunch - should be fun.
Monday - I will be starting to learn a new section of my work so might not make it in time for pacting and I imagine that will be all I manage that day too.
Have a great Sunday everyone
Jo

I'm so proud of you faithful pacters! That is my goal this week is to post my pacting EVERYDAY!

I also like to keep my Sundays quiet...

*church
*spend time with my younger sis's family
*walk my dog...a LONG walk
*read
*rest

And tomorrow I'm starting a new eating plan... I'm going to slowly start cutting things out of my diet starting with caffeine.

Good luck to everyone and have a peaceful Sunday! smilewinkgrin

Wow, April, you sound energised! I'm really looking forward to hearing your pacts this week.

Jo, barefoot lawn bowls sounds fun. Good luck with your training. I hope you're able to get through the next few days without wearing yourself out completely.

sjkly, I'm sending you some energetic vibes to help you get through Sunday.

My 6pm update - I've done the basic chores and a lot of gardening, but I still have a fair bit of tidying to do. The inside of the house might be messy, but the outside looks much tidier after all the gardening I did today!! I've done most of the other pacts except for church at home (which I will do later), meditating, stretching, the legs and *sigh* the kitchen... Am hoping to do the kitchen while listening to my favourite radio show tonight. Everything else might get bumped over to tomorrow.

Why am I here when I have so much to do? My hips started hurting and I needed to stop and rest for a while.

Catch you in the morning,

Ivy.

Get the house clean before my parents get here, pick up some more food for dinner tonight and snacks, get more laundry done since we just got our new dryer, work on more applications, dump the litter box and refill. Walking the dog and swimming at my neighbors was on my list but I think I'll put that one off. I can always walk her after my parents get here.
