Sorry...I know I'm not the only one, but I've been hungry since last Wednesday.  I had something at lunch that did not agree with me and haven't been able to take any food since.  The heartburn is unbelievable and even applesauce hurt.  I tried rice and a little pork last  night because I felt weak from no food (Ensure doesn't even seem attractive to me now).  Well I had a night of groaning and am still hurting.

This all wouldn't be so bad except we leave for our Labor Day camping trip Friday.  We have a cabin and it's near a major bathroom, but I hate sitting around watching the group have fun when I feel like crap.  I just want to feel better and I was hoping this whine would help.
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
I'm riding on the escalator of life....

HabsHockeyFan -

Hang in there. Sorry you are going through this. :) I think the longest I was off food was 7 days. I let pain be my gauge. Good luck to you. Hope all goes well at the cabin. Forgot we have a holiday coming up. Being unemployed is making me lose track of time and days!!

Sorry to hear about that i was put on a liquid diet when i was first diagnosed with chrones for 8 weeks... strictly no food apart from chewing gum !! that was for 8 weeks then i was on a steady diet coming of the liquid which was 4 weeks.. then i was finally relieved of all of it! i ate normally for about 7 weeks then had to go on the liquid diet again for another 8 weeks with the 4 week diet at the end! I WAS STARVING! watching my family sit down for dinner every night wen all i cood have was a disgusting drink that tasted like gone off milk! (i mixed nesquick with it to make it taste nice doc said i was allowed hehe!) the name of the liquid i was on slips my mmind as it was about 2 and half years ago but i wish you or anyone never has to go n it its like torture!! although i did sneak some biscuits every now and then haha!
Hope All Goes Well.

I'm with you. Just had terrible food poisoning (that no one else got) at my husband's family beach house. There they were eating lobster rolls, fried clams, eye of round, chips. . . .I took a walk, a shower. . . anything to stay away from the table. Too hard for me this time. I get so irritable too when I'm that hungry.

Big old ugh!

Hope you feel better real soon. Maybe the trip will help. A chance to get away and see new things. Roast a marshmallow or a frank. Heck if Frank is around roast him too. Oooops, sorry, I had a boss named Frank...Anyway,,,feel better...K
If we would read the secret history of our enemies,we would find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.
