Okay - I have purchased a pair of OTC reading glasses in the hopes that they will help me through this communication...

It's been a rough month, to say the least. But, my trouble is still very much in the "here and now".
I can't see properly, my vision is often distorted, as is my spacial perception... to put it simply - I feel half-drunk and half-hung over... I'm all wobbly when I walk, and I can't do ANYTHING in a straight line to save my life! My head feels "muddy" or "cloudy" all the time- like I'm congested, but I don't think that I am...

The only rx's that I've been taking are the Prednisone (25mg), the Humira (did the two-shot booster Friday night), and I take a bentyl(anti-spasm) before bed.

Has anyone else had spacial/perception issues on any of these meds? I thought for-sure that it was the muscle relaxer Hycosamine stuff, but it's been a full 5 days since I took any of that stuff, so it CAN't be that...I don't think... Oh heck - I don't know. I feel like I'm stuck in a perpetual "out-of-body" experience and I'm going NUTS!

Oh yeah, and my neck hurts... kinda like it does when you're about to get a cold or something... that stiffness... it never goes away. I felt like I was fighting the flu or something a couple days ago, but that has eased up... I don't feel "flu"ey anymore... just wonky. I'm losing my marbles.

Well I have read that prednisone can make your vision blurry, might want to give the doctor a call and let them know it's going on!

I also take bentyl and prednisone, and my vision is also much, much worse than it was. It makes it difficult to take notes in class..I've heard of other people who had the same problem, but it went away after they tapered down.

I'd be willing to bet a million bucks that it's the bentyl. I was on it a few years ago and that stuff is some nasty medicine. It's great for the spasms, but it made me so confused. I was fuzzy-headed, couldn't focus -mentally and visually - I was a mess. When I stopped taking it, my head cleared and so did my vision. Hang in there girl. You are really having a rough time!!!
