I have not heard of this, but thanks for bringing it up. I'm going to talk to my doc about it (it's listed through his office) when I go in for my appt next week. I don't know if I'll do it with the fact that I still haven't tried Cimzia. But, it's so good to know there are other options out there.
So, at what point do they start the open label (real drug) phase? How long do the control groups last? Is it phase 2?
--40 year old female, dx as UC in '04 (1st symptoms in '03), switched to Crohn's in '05, 1 fistula, crohn's colitis, limited to large intestine
--rejected (reaction/didn't work): Asacol, AZA, 6-MP, MTX, Remicade, Humira, prednisone
--methylpred - finally off 6/15/08, tried Prochymal in Phase III study (can't wait til it's approved!)
--started Tysabri 3/21/08
--single mom to 10-yr-old girl
