Question:

I haven't had my period for about 5 years. I had a pelvic ultrasound last year and found out I do have a few cycts but don't have they typical pain & heavy bleeding that comes with it...like I said, I haven't had a period for about 5 years.

Had blood work done a couple of times and I'm not going thru menopause either. Gyne and I concluded that it is probably due to all the medications that I am on for all of my conditions because I have been feeling great.

Well for the last two months...I will wake up day one with really bad nausea. The next day cramps that feel like menstrual cramps and then the third day really bad pain and I think it is my CD and take an entocort and then the next day I get bloating really bad and start spotting just for one day, then it takes about a week for my tummy to get back to feeling okay, the whole time on entocort. Then I stop taking it.

The next month the same pattern happens again.

I'm now just trying to figure out if it is actually my CD or just from getting my period. It's been a long time since I've had my period and I'm on so much medication I'm wondering if I just forgotten how it feels to get my period again. Maybe I shouldn't even be taking the entocort...which would be wonderful, because otherwise my CD has been doing pretty good besides this.

Don't get me wrong...I have been off/on the entocort all year but inbetween these mini periods of one day,...the last two months, I have actually been feeling pretty great with my CD.

Any thoughts? I'm scheduled for my annual with my Gyne 1st week of next month but I'm always anxious "thinkin of things".
