* basic chores - make bed, do dishes, wash hair. No gardening, because it's raining
* get the house tidy, because it is still a mess redface
* Sunday chores - clean the kitchen
* Crohn's and fibro care - exercise, stretching x 3, strengthening, meds.
* devotions (see below)

Other than that, try to have a bit of a mind / body / spirit day. All of these are optional extras, but I'll try to get through some of them, at least.

Mind - listen to my favourite radio shows; read uplifting novel, phone a friend.
Body - facial, manicure / pedicure, moisturise.
Spirit - do church at home, pick flowers (if it stops raining), meditate.

Bonus points if I get the sewing machine out and work out how to use it. More bonus points if I grab some groceries.

Hope you are feeling better today Ivy, my virus is subsidng and I feel more human today so will be attempting:
basic tidying
watch some movies as its raining today and we could all do with the rest inside
Not much else, will be happy just to get some food in the cupboards again.
Have a restful Sunday everyone
PS - Ivy, the new work I learnt seems to have been just for them to catch up and now that they have caught up they have'nt rostered me on for it again - slackers! They also canned my great Sunday morning shift :(

:-( :-( I'm sorry, Jo; on both counts.

My 7.30 pm update - dragged myself around the house again, feeling drugged and dodgy (thanks, mtx!!) but I did make the bed and catch up on the dishes, and the house is a *little* bit tidier than it was, but still not as tidy as I'd like it to be. I've also read a fair bit of uplifting fiction, listened to the radio documentaries and phoned a friend - all pretty sedentary activitiese, but still worthwhile.

I got irritated with myself this afternoon and caught a taxi to Spotlight and bought a pattern and some material to make myself some pjs, seeing as it's so hard to find any decent, respectable ones in the shops. Now I have a real and urgent incentive to work out how to use the sewing machine!!!

Congrats on getting the groceries done, Jo. That's one tiring job.
