I really thought it was Im like...what will they try now? what will they do? I feel like Ive been on everything, what other options are there?

Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength

Hi Maybe another short trial of pred. Do you think something might have started this flare like a cold or added stress ,how long you been on the Hum.? Sometimes we wish we had more answers. I did check your med list and you have taken a lot of meds.I will certainly be watching to see what your Dr. decides. lol gail

How long have you been on the pentasa? I know when I first started taking it, it didn't do anything and I had a terrible flare regardless which hospitalized me. I started to notice a difference after about a month and half(from then to now), but I really think part of the effectiveness is due to the 'jumpstart' they gave me with the IV steroids and the bedrest as well as a pretty bland diet for about three weeks--I am introducing new things now...had lettuce and onions today so here's to hoping I'm not sending myself back to the hospital.
Maybe you could check into natural supplements as well? The results for those aren't instantaneous either, but I've noticed a difference with those too.
Let us know what your doctors say though? I hope you feel well soon.

Have you discussed weekly Humira shots with your doctor? It seems like many need it more than one shot every other week.
