Thanks for reading and putting up with the venting. I have had a few bad months, out of work over the summer cause of a flare. I was out six weeks.I work at Wal-Mart. I have been on remicade for 6 months now and still have flares, so now I am on 50mg of pred. It seems that the stuff is affecting me different this time. I have the moon face and eating everything in site. But this morning I had to leave work 2 hours after I got there, I seem to be sweating like a pig.....a lot. And my hands shake all the time. I am a baker so I am by an oven all day too. People are always asking me whats wrong....the sweating, my hair is like I just washed it. Does anyone else get this way? Please help!
I am soooo afraid I am going to lose my job, we can't make it without me working. I am afraid my husband will leave me.
 Thanks All

Sherri, I sweat like that and I am not on pred. Just a little exertion and I am soaked. I worked that way for years though. Get yourself a fan if you can, they help a lot. Now,,,about your husband leaving you,,,Hmmmmmmmm, that does not say much for him...
If we would read the secret history of our enemies,we would find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.

Sheri, So sorry about the sweating... I did not have that but I switched to Entocort after being on Pred for a little while.

Also, you can buy some of those neck wraps that you soak with water. We used them for the kids over the summer. I got mine at Walgreen's by the counter for $5 each.

I soaked them they swell up then I leave in the fridge, the coolness on your neck really cools the body down a lot. (they look like a bandanna)

I agree with Sniper about the hubby. Or are you worrying too much?

Also, maybe take some towels to put in yuor pocket to wipe your face etc...
