Every day for the past two months I have either been nauseated or vomiting and always in pain! I start my new job today. Shoot!!! I have my phenegren, pain med and xanax and will definitely dose myself to put on a "happy face" for the new boss. Don't want her to see me all in pain and such... not for a few months anyways. I think I will take the anti-D med I have but never take too.

Okay. Venting done. This "stuff" just gets so old. Just sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Sorry to vent. Thanks.

Good luck today Leslie. Could the vomiting be nerves?
26 Year old married female law student (last year!!). Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night. I also take a birth control pill to allow some fun in my life.

I was wondering the samething. When I get really anxious I will get like I am flaring, but I'm not, its just the anxiety. Good luck with the new job.

Thanks. I have been vomiting for the past four or five days now and been in pretty bad pain. Think it's a combination of flare and nerves. AND now strep.

First day went okay... until they took me out to lunch and suggested some foods that are a big no-no. I just went ahead and nonchalantly said, "I have crohn's, so I can't eat veggies and salads." and left it at that.

Yay - you got the "C" word out of the way! Firm lunches can be stressful, especially when you are not feeling well. So glad you got through it ok!

Thanks! My new boss is a real sweetheart. She asked me a little more about it and I gave her a little info. It is strange not working in a law firm... very strange. I don't feel I am as productive as I should be. Still very nauseated and still in a great deal of pain. Hoping this will pass soon. My boss didn't ask me to go to lunch with her yesterday. She said she understood and could see how much pain I was in the day before. That suits me just fine. I prefer not to eat much when at work anyways. Digesting is painful!!

Just wanted to say hello to you. Im new here and I have been having a lot of vomiting for the last 6 days and pain too. I have percocet and in turn that nauseates me also. I got a script of promethazine 25mg and it helps alot. I also take Ativan as I have really bad anxiety. Somedays I need it and some days I dont.

Congrats on the new job btw! Its nice to meet you.
