so today - is prep day. Tomorrow is my colonoscopy. Luckily, it's at 830am, so I'll wake up, shower and head right in.

I hate prep day. I am SO hungry. SOOO hungry.

but also luckily, my doctor let me use the pills instead of the drink! so far - 4 down 16 more to go - and then 12 more later this evening.

unfortunately, my boyfriend has class this evening, so i am left alone. i can be rather neeeedy sometimes, esp when i have to slam 32 pills, hang out in the bathroom and starve - maybe slightly dramatic ;)

but i always have my friends here :D

and movies! (maybe some homework too)

Oh I can only hope that when Im due for my next colonoscopy that I can have the pills...oh dare I dream...The last time I had mine (last oct) had to take that horrid drink and It was so bad that my doctor told me the next day during my procedure I called him a quack a few times and said oh hes man enough to dish out that junk to his patients but hes not man enough to drink it himself...yip I turned many shades of red that day... but fortunatly I have been a patient of his for what seems like forever and he knows my sence of humor...hopefully your nite goes well and there will be many of us here to lend a helping hand....
currently taking

pentasa, hyocosamine, zofran, acphix and started Remicade back in May

I just drank my first 8 oz. of my prep for my colonoscopy tomorrow =) lol.  At least this time I had the option of getting cherry flavor..altho after the first 8 oz. I'm not sure which is worse. As I sit in my room starving, watching 30 min meals with Rachel Ray (lol) and stare at the huge gallon jug sitting on my floor that I need to drink I wonder.... They can send a man to the moon but cant make something as simple as this a little better tasting for us, it boggles my mind.

hey guys ugghhhhhh hate prep days. I have the small bowel follow through tomorrow, yum wake up drink 3 glasses of chalk shake, try not to heave it back on em : ) I am so going to ask the pharmacist if I can use something else for my prep for my upcoming colonoscopy besides the gallon of Miralax Gatorade, I don't drink that much in a week. It does suck so bad to prep for these procedures. I hate being so darn hungry, also puts people in such a pleasant mood : )Just wanted you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hopefully your time will go fast, I always try to sleep through the day. Good Luck, Dawn☼
