Hello, everyone havent been on line for awhile but i think my last post i felt great well,iv had exscrusiating pain every time i ate or took my meds you think things are looking up and then it just comes back. Anyway had colonoscopy and endiscopy it said there was perianul disease not sure what that means but i am a wreck once again go to my specialist next week to find out ,but i am so scared that i have to have surgary or gona die or somthing stupid i not the best at thinking pos anymore i only have the forum to talk to cos know one eles u [img]/community/emoticons/cry.gif[/img] ders tands hope i can get some advice and input ta.

Hi Bec,

It's good to see you back here.

First of all, take a big breath. You've done the right thing in getting the c'scopy and endo done, because now you're half-way towards getting some answers and treatment.

My understanding of perianal disease is that your Crohn's is active in the very lower part of your bowel - around your rectum and anus. (I hope someone with perianal disease will come along and correct me if I'm wrong, and share their experiences with you). Often it can be treated with antibiotics or topical meds, or with the biologic meds.

What I'm trying to say is don't panic :-). You may not need surgery - you may just need some different meds.

Please do tell us how you go with the specialist.
