* basic chores - make bed, do dishes (done), tidying, 1 floor, 15 minutes gardening
* Sunday chore - clean kitchen
* crohn's and fibro care - exercise, stretching x 3, meds, strengthening.

Have another mind / body / spirit day (do as many of these as I can):

Mind - listen to my favourite radio documentaries, read some non-fiction, write.
Body - moisturise, exfoliate, maybe paint my toenals, dehair, eat nourishing food.
Spirit - do church at home, meditate.

Bonus points if I do the grocery shopping, more if I go to the movies, because there's a film I'd like to see.

tend to the lemon and orange trees
weed the garden bed
also need to make some slices for the kids morning teas for school
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Hi Jo,

The film is that new one about the robot that's left to clean up after everyone left Earth. I can't remember what it's called, but every review I've read / heard says it's really good. Not sure if I'll make it, though. The gut is starting to play up :-/

Anyway. I've done the bed and the dishes and a bit of tidying (still have more to do, though) and have cleaned half the kitchen. Am trying to summon the enthusiasm for shopping.

Have a lovely time in the garden! What you're doing sounds like lots of fun.

Kaycie, pacting is for people who are in a bit of a slump need some motivation to get through the day. We pact what we'd like to achieve and then check in later to tell people how we went.

Sometimes it's just a matter of pacting to do the basic chores instead of vegging out in front of the tv, feeling horrible, and letting the mess pile around us. Sometimes it's more to do with maintaining mental health - being with people, doing activities, things like that.

Thanks Ivy. If I wasn't back to work, I'd totally need that. My weekends are for vegging in front of the tv, but I do stay motivated to get the laundry and dishes done. I've been a bit down with this recent flare and the new decisions I'm having to make. Trying to weed through info again and it's downright depressing, to be honest. I'm on Lexapro thank goodness, but I still think I need to increase my dose...
