I have terrible tags that are spreading and growing even more than ever before (yup baby flare is occurring).  I also have small tearing in one area.  The pain is very limited, but what drives me bonkers is the itch.  The other day I said @#%@# it and used neosporin on the area that tears.  I figured it makes my cuts on my hands heal fantastically....what can it hurt.
Now I have "doctoring myself" remorse.  It did work really well.  No more itch or pain for that matter.  I can wipe without yelping like a puppy.  BUT....is there a reason I should not do this?  So far I see no reason not to, but I always hate self medication.
Any thoughts???

Neosporin is a benign topical antibiotic ointment. You used it as such and it worked. Don't worry about it. What's good for your hands is good for your bum. (Except it's hard to wear a first baseman's mitt there.)

Hey ,,,,If I can use preperation H on my rash riddled body you can use neosporin elsewhere. One word of caution though. I have some reactions to neosporin and now I use Bactroban. It does the same thing but I dont react.
If we would read the secret history of our enemies,we would find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.

Thanks Mike...now I have this image stuck in my head that will stay with me while I hope to watch the White Sox lose tonight (I'm a Twins fan)
Sniper...I'll look for Bactroban if that is OTC since I have sensitive skin it can't hurt to be cautious.
