I have the opposite problem.  The chocolate ones make me nauseous and the vanilla ones agree more with me.
Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.

I like the chocolate, but I can't stand to drink the vanilla. It's just too sweet. It's like eating frosting. I wouldn't say it makes me nauseous though.

Yet another thing that is so individual..... The chocolate is the one that makes me nauseous. I can only drink the vanilla and strawberry. I also cannot drink Ensure. It makes my D worse, but boost is fine as well as the store brand that I drink most of the time.
Dx with Crohn's in 1997 after 5 years of worsening symptoms.
Resection a few months after dx after 1 month on TPN and IV steroids.
Also have severe asthma.

Tried: Pentasa, Cholestyramine

Presently taking: 3.2 grams Asacol, 150 Imuran, now on 40 mg prednisone, Humira(start on Sept26/08), probiotics.
For asthma I take Advair 500, singulair, arieus

The chocolate boost makes me super nauseated. I've never tried the vanilla or strawberry because I'm too picky and can't stand the thought of the flavor. :)

I used to LOVE the choc. ones. What a treat. But they always went right through me. Never caused nausea though.

I never really tried the other ones because I'm a choc. gal.

I could drink the vanilla one's before, but they started to make me naseaous too. I like the strawberry one's now they are tastier and I don't have naseau at all, really good. Don't really like anything chocolate flavored except for chocolate and chocolate milk so I never tried chocolate flavor ensure.

i like the vanilla ensure - but can only do half the container at a time. there's too much sugar - it makes me nauseous.

any amount of the strawberry made me feel sick, but im not one for fake strawberry flavors anyway. hadn't tried the chocolate, figured it had more sugar than the vanilla, and that already has too much for me.
