It's green, and I think it was green when they were round balls but I didn't notice for sure (cuz they just looked really dark in the toilet) because from wiping nothing really showed up on the TP but now that they are softer and long instead of round hard balls, when I wipe I see green, the same shade of green (dark) when I was taking the chlorophyll back in the beginning of last spring for about 2 months. But I'm not taking it nor have I been for a long time so it's not that but it's the same color as it was when I was taking it. And it smells bad, normally there isn't a foul odor when I "go" but there is now...I have not been eating anything blue (which I know can turn the color of stool green) I have also not increased my green veggies anymore than usual either.

I know this green color could be related to gallbladder (which I still have) but I'm not having any pain or any other gallbladder symptoms...I'm really getting freaked out here. Like I said, I've never exeperianced green poops other then the short time I was using the chlorophyll.

What about anything with a high iron content? That always makes my poo dark green.

I was always told that it could be something we eat, pills that we take, or even bile.

Here's an article on green poop even for ya:

Thanks Jen :)

I'm wondering if it's a bile thing because the supplements I'm taking now are the same ones I've been taking for a few yrs now, not to say that for some odd reason one of them isn't causing this but going with my gut instincts I really don't think it's any of the supplements I'm taking...I'm only getting older (41) and I've never had anything removed, tonsils, appendix, gallbladder, (with the exception of 2 babies LOL) so I'm wondering if it's bile thing (gallbladder) that's developing...the good thing is the round hard ping-pong balls seems to have stopped but the green is still present so I'll give it another week or so and see what happens and take it form there...thanks for the link too :)

Thanks Julie :)

Today was a nice shape and size of stool, yesterday was a little too thin for most of them, but so far today's shape and size is normal looking, and the poops themselves look to be a browner shade with only a tinge of green on the little bit of mess that came off on the TP so I think it's worked/ing it's way through the bizzaro poops now, unless of course it changes back to what it was a few days ago...I'm relieved that things all around are looking more normal.

Thank you everyone for your input and concerns, I truly appreciate you guys helping me get through this nerve racking episode.

:)
