I stumbled across this board while looking for some info on the net. This looks like a great site.
I recently had a sigmoid colectomy done and was wondering if anyone has had bladder problems
after this procedure?? I'm currently receiving some tests but nothing has been found yet.
Also, I know pain with the surgery will last for sometime but how long?? It kills to go to
 the bathroom.
I have Crohn's which has been ok for the past few years. I've had flare ups every 4 months with the diverticulitis so the
surgery was the answer. I'm 34 yrs old and somedays I regret having the surgery because once the antibiotics kicked in I felt great. Time will tell
Thanks, looking forward to using the site

Hi and Welcome to Healing Well glad you joined us. I didn't have surgery in the place you had itI had TI resection and it didn't take long before things went threw for me without problems. Perhaps there are others here who can give you more info on that part of the intestines. I am guessing you are on low roughage diet are you? lol gail
