There is going to be a conference in Houston on Nov 1 dealing with Crohns and IBD. I am thinking of going. Anyone else interested and able to get there ?

Sno its not the bus fare, its how long you would have to hold your breath. I would love to meet some of you guys though.

Gosh Sniper, I would love to go, but California is just too far. It would be so great if all of us could get to meet.

Not sure I'm going now. Was hoping to meet some of you there. So far no one else is going. I know there are crohns peeps in Texas. Not that the info would be a total waste of time but mostly wanted to meet you people.

I am thinking about it. BUT, I hold down a second job and the wekend of the 31st my first job I have to install a second rack and do all the cross-conects. I was telling my family about it and how it would ben nice to put some faces to screennames. :) We shall see.

ROFL
nono Sniper - you know me - the problem would not be lack of wind, but the inability to stay silent that long ! yeah
So near and yet so far, Texan, shakehead but true distance lies in the heart.... smilewinkgrin

I know what you mean Texan but I am told, Texas, its a whole nother country, and surely in a whole country there are others with crohns ? Maybe not. Sno , are we talking rumble ,rumble , or a story of breaking wind ??? I'm just glad your back...

nonoSniper, I meant lung power, not jet power.eyes It would be a pretty bad f**t that lasted all the way across The Pond !
idea Mmm, come to think of it, the error is readily comprehensible, you probably have that sort on a daily basis. I've heard how the paint is peeling off at the local Wal-Mart restrooms where you are... smilewinkgrin
blush Actually, (getting back to the keeping silent thing) if truth be told, I have somewhat of a reputation amongst my friends for not shutting up. In fact, for NEVER shutting up...in fact, women have refused to sleep with me on the grounds that they know they wouldn't get a moment's silence. cry Well, that, and the BO. shocked

We could just make our own conference. Just the way we like it. Torture all the SCD'ers with the smell of bread on a Dutch Oven over a camp fire.Just kidding, I still follow SCD too closely for that. Sounds like we would do well to meet in Missippippi, or Arkansas, so we could leave it all behind us when we go!

                                                                   tongue turn tongue

Crohn's for life, symptoms included terrible joint and soft tissue pain, just met first cousin who suffers from Reactive Arthritis-explains sooo much. Great control on SCD (when I'm good) and I get by with a lotta help from my friends!

I'm going to be at this conference, and my mom is flying down from Boston for it, too.  I'd love to meet some people, if anyone else is going!
