Missing Brittuck too.
27 Year old married female law student (last year!!). Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night. I also take a birth control pill to allow some fun in my life.

eyes I hardly know which of these posh new emoticons to use, my head is spinning to look at the choice turn smilewinkgrin
A dire lack of computer time means I rarely do more than a quick check of email nowadays, and being such an incredibly s l o w typist means I am rendered mute even I am when surfing here shakehead And if I was to make everything I say a pun, that would be way too hair-raising now, wouldn't it ! smhair
Keeping much better than many a person here I think, even hoping to go back to work next year sometime. rolleyes Assuming there are any jobs left in the economy by then ! Meantime, growing vegetables - so I suppose you could say I am just vegetating...
I do miss all my internet friends, really badly sometimes. Here's hoping y'all are all getting all that you can out of life... yeah

Okay Gail...here I is! I'm working extremely hard on starting my own jewelry business! Far from ready! Too much to learn. Been hitting the books, picking people's minds, going to classes, going to jewelry shows and learning to silversmith (it's so cool). I would like to make money doing this but I think I have finally found my passion!

I am sooooo addicted that I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the other endless responsibilities I have! Like the living room I've been trying to paint for 3 weeks now. Got started and had a lovely visit from a kidney stone and I just can't get motivated to finish! Hope I haven't worried you to much!

If all that isn't enough on top of work and family I'm trying to learn to design web pages as well. I need a big pool of options in case I go down in the future and get stuck at home. Hopefully this won't happen from the Crohn's but from huge success in the jewelry business huh!

idea Don't worry Humboldtmum, it is just that he is getting sluggish in his old age !
The one good thing about gardening with Crohn's - you are attuned to nature, as you are going at a snail's pace. eyes The bad news - if you slow down.... cry well, lettuce not talk of my 192 missing carrot plants.shakehead
(Ooh, I do love these new emoticons.)
So what is the snail thing ? Is Sniper selling RVs to slugs now ?
