I don't know if you remember, but I had an abscess drained back in May. I have a fistula remaining where the abscess was, but I can no longer see a hole and it's kind of itchy/skin feels tight. Do you know if this means it's closing up and healing, or is it going to close up and abscess again? Any experience please?
Bad flare May '06 resulted in CD diagnosis-symptoms for 10 yrs prior.
Asacol: 2400 mg/day

That could very well be a sign of it healing, especially if you don't see the hole anymore, but remember this disease is quite ignorant and has a nasty mind of it's own so try and be prepared for anything.

:)

Oh yes, I've become quite aware of that! I'll cross my fingers for healing though. smilewinkgrin
