My little grandson is going to be Buzz Lightyear, he's 3. I won't be here to see him though, I'm going to Florida to meet up with my

I plan to go to a house party... at a house with three bathrooms! One of which is in the hosts bedroom. Yay! But, I need to come up w/ a cheap couples costume. My husband wanted to be the sister/brother pair from the movie Blades of Glory but I'm not sure anyone but us would know what we are.

Halloween is HUGE in our house. We have been doing a haunted house at our house for about 20 years, each year it grows and changes. But, last year my husband said, he needed a year off, so he warned everyone that it was the last one! sad I'm talking building walls, elaborate sets, cast of 20 - 25 friends and family, we usually have about 300 people go through. It was all that was talked about at the summer BBQs, are you really not doing the haunted house? Then, he got booked to take a business trip and was going to be away all week, our kids are in college, one in Salem, MA, Halloween central, do you think she's coming home on Halloween, NO. So, I'm going to be home alone, left to answer the door to all the disappointed neighbors and I've been so sad about it for months. I was planning on hiding in my bedroom with all the lights out and not answering the door.

BUT, 2 days ago, my husbands business trip got shortened and he'll be home and then he started planning how to haunt the outside of the house on a more minor scale. turn He usually puts in over 60 hours of work on this and our friends put in about half as much time too, its a huge undertaking for 3 hours of fun for the town, bu they all love it. I just knew he couldn't stay away entirely.

I am the costume maker. I sew all the costumes for the characters or adapt ones we buy. And of course I am in charge of feeding everyone. Lasagna, Salad, garlic bread before the haunted house. Reheated Lasagna..... and Brownies after.

Oh and did I mention, I went into labor during one of our haunted houses and wasn't allowed to turn on any lights to time my contractions, and the haunted house had to be cleaned up before I left for the hospital. We take Halloween very seriously in this family.

Hey we need lots more cheer here. I will do the trick or treat thing not many kids here and some years I didn.'t get any, been watching movies all week some are pretty gory. I do love the orange pumpkins around and decorations they go great with our fall leaf colors. My teen is going to be helping decorate the museum for a spooky night so that will be fun for her .I used to go to the haunted house down here and scream my head off especially when the heads poop up threw the table. I would come out of there feeling a year lost from my life from all the little terrors they had. It was done in a old vacant house .lol gail

I LOVE halloween!!  My 2 1/2 year old is going as a dalmation doggie.  But I can't get him to really keep his costume on. And he won't wear the hat which has the ears and really makes the costume. So he may just be going as a cute little boy!!!  LOL

I so love Halloween. This year is the first year my daughter is not asking that I buy her a costume. We just came up with what she wants to be on Monday. The first Fall party is this friday. I have to attempt my first set of wings. She is going to be a Scary Fairy. I love it.

I'm going to carve a pumpkin this year. It will have a bunch of empty beer cans by it, a nauseated look on its face and all the insides and seeds will be spilling out of its mouth and onto the steps.

Thanks Fitzy, I even found one with a little toilet to throw up in..Gail , I would not mind cutting off my head if I could have a new and improved body sewn on after. Bet Rando feels the same.

For work I have red and black scrubs and I got some lady bug wings and antena. I was trying to be a flea but I dont have the engery to make it. Then I have made myself a deal that I WILL go out to our friends party who will have a private bathroom just for me and special foods that she knows I can eat. For that I'll be a Gatsby Girl. Yeah I'm 26 but I'm gonna keep on dressing up until someone forces me not to. Trick or treat ~Brie
