Just trying to stay afloat again...

* basic chores - make bed, stay on top of dishes, try to get things a little bit tidier than they are (shouldn't be too hard; things aren't too messy right now), 5 minutes gardening, shower and wash hair.
* get the mouldy tofu out of the fridge and put it in the worm farm
* get the mouldy fruit out of the fruit bowl and feed to the worms (lucky worms!! They may as well eat it seeing as I can't anymore rolleyes )
* make broccoli soup: I have to do this because my broccoli plants have suddenly produced ripe florets and I don't want to lose the crop. Besides, it'll be nice to have something green (though pureed) to eat.
* do five minutes exercise: preferably weight bearing exercise, because I feel that I'm getting weaker.
* devotions
* read churchy book; watch churchy video
* listen to my favourite radio shows
* meds

Bonus points; completely optional:
* get hair off legs
* paperwork (I didn't do it yesterday)
* clear my desk, which is the messiest part of the house right now
* do a bit of kitchen cleaning - my usual Sunday chore
* walk to the corner and back. I did this yesterday - yay, me. yeah
* phone someone / write letters or emails / send a note to a lady from church who is having a hard time.
* do a load of washing, or do five minutes ironing.

There. That should keep me out of mischief.

Have a good day, everyone.

12pm. I'm doing everything in five minute blocks, but so far I've had a shower, got the mouldy fruit out of the house, put some recycling in the bin and the broccoli soup is on the stove, simmering.

I was all set to make some barley water, too, but I've just searched the cupboards, fruitlessly, and remembered that I chucked the barley a few weeks ago, thinking that I'd never get well enough to eat it and forgetting that the main reason it was in the cupboard in the first place was to make barley water, not to eat whole. I can be so stupid sometimes!!

And, as usually happens, now I craaaaaaave barley water. So annoying.

Looks like it's just me today.

5pm. I've made the soup, and it is *good*. Really concentrated and nourishing and filling - just what you need on a liquid diet. I've also walked half a block further than I did yesterday and I think I've discovered my limit, because I only just made it home in time. Still, it was an achievement, and I feel good for trying. I've done the devotions, read some of my churchy book, watched some of my churchy video. I rang someone and left a message (they weren't home) and have dashed off an email to someone, and done a load of laundry. Now I have to get back on top of the dishes and try to get the house a bit tidier than it is...

Ivy, talking to herself...

Hi, Ivy.

I am back from my families and managed all of my weekly shopping so the only thing left for today is to put all of the stuff away and cook dinner-I don't even care if the dinner thing happens I can microwave something if I want to.

Pommom, that's amazing! Are you planning to do that all today, or this month? I'm super-impressed.

Welcome back, sj. How's your sister? (And how are your sinuses? You haven't mentioned them for a little while). I hope you were able to sleep well and feel more rested by the time you see this.
