I got a bit of energy last night and wiped down a lot of the kitchen, cleaned the bathroom sink and the bathroom mirror and vacuumed the two central floors, so things look a bit shinier here.

Today I'm doing the loading doses of Humira. I had a mild reaction the last time I did the loading doses so expect something similar today, so am keeping my basic pacts short:

* basic chores - make bed (done), stay on top of dishes, get the house a little tidier than it is, 5 minutes gardening, shower and wash hair.
* devotions
* RSVP church (ie, no, I can't come)
* renew library books
* take antihistamines (done), then
* inject Humira!! (DONE!! turn)
* phone a family member (done)

Try to:
* get the food I can't eat out of the fridge and put it in the worm farm
* wash yesterday's litter tray
* do a bit of ironing (even if only 5 minutes) while watching bad tv
* wash the tray the cat eats off, because it is a mess.
* 5 minutes exercise (I didn't do any yesterday)
* drag all the mess off my desk and sort it while watching bad tv this afternoon

Other optional extras:
* get hair off legs
* do the last bit of kitchen cleaning left over from yesterday
* run a duster over the obvious surfaces - Tuesday's chore
* phone someone / write letters or emails / send a note to a lady from church who is having a hard time.
* do five minutes ironing.
* sew on button (while watching bad tv?)
* journal
* start working on my inspirations folder
* do a bit more towards making pjs
* sow tarragon seeds
* any extra chores
* vacuum some more floors
* do a load of washing
* do a fridge dive and find what's smelly

Have a good day, everyone. Looby, I hope your gut has settled.

Ivy, crashing already and about to reward herself with an invigorating cup of tea.

Well,I need to do laundry and pack tommorow so I can go to my sister's for the weekend-It is everyone's birthday-my mother my sister and the baby all have birthdays in October (he is turning 1 and he is so cute).
So that is my pact for tomorrow-none for the weekend except hug and kiss the babys-(my college age neice and 16 year old nephew are still babies to me).
Oops I also need to get my sister a present-everyone else's is already taken care of.

Late pacting today - my AS has decided to flare - yeh for me.
I need to keep moving so have already walked this am and plan to again this pm, only other chores will be very basic.
Glad you got your Humira Ivy - how did the pen thing go?
Sj - always jealous to hear you get to hug babies (my 15year old is still my baby girl and loves hugs too)
Have a good day everyone
Jo

Oh, Jo, no. Why is it flaring? That's so unfair. You've only just started to recover from your surgery. I'm so sorry. *hug*

My 1.30 pm update: I've showered and RSVP'd, as well as the other things I said I'd done when I posted this morning. Am planning to sort papers and do paperwork while watching All Saints and Masterchef this afternoon and will think about doing the dishes... eventually tongue.

I am so hungry... it's becoming an overwhelming obsession today.

Hope everyone's day is going well,

Ivy.

My pm update - AS has settled due to heat pads, hot shower and walking twice already today. Plan to walk later with my son, husband and dog after dinner if the rain holds out.
Ivy - If my guts good then the AS rears its ugly head, although I am tapering pred so... could be that, am due to take MTX tonight so I hope not to be like this tomorrow. Jo

2.50 pm. I've watched All Saints and Masterchef and have sorted and dealt with huge mound of paperwork, and half of it is either bundled up for postage, or in the recycling. I still have more to do, but my desk is starting to look much tidier. I've also made some progress working through the pile of ironing that has accumulated in the last few weeks.

8.30 pm. Done the dishes; written the note to the lady who's having a hard time; tried to renew the library books (and failed; they've been renewed too many times while I've been Humiraless); washed the cats' tray; done some gardening; got the house a little tidier; done five minutes exercise; removed the inedible stuff from the fridge. Yay. I'm making progress.

Catch you in the Friday thread.

Ivy, still hungry.
