Hey all,

Last night in the chat room we started talking alittle bit about what times of year our crohn's tends to rear it's ugly head.  My rough times of the year seem to be fall and late winter.  I've looked back over my hospitalizations and kinda see a pattern.  I plan to start using my cimzia resources to record everything I do.  In the start up folder I received there was a calender with stickers for absolutely everything from a toilet to record bathroom visits, dr visits, sad face for bad days,etc..  I was just wondering if other people have noticed certain times of year are better or worse?  Wishing everybody good days ahead.

Love to all,

Mine started in the spring but since I've never been in full remission ever, I can't say I've noticed over the many yrs if it's been better or worse depending on the season, for me at least, I've had horrible flares over the yrs during all seasons.

All of my resections were in the 1st weeks of January's.  And the rest of my issues/surgeries were from March to June.  I guess the holidays & winter months take a toll on me.  I live in the midwest where it gets very cold & gloomy.  Hope this helps.  Bless you.

Well, seeing as how I was only diagnosed this year the worst period was during the summer. I kind of hope that if that IS how Crohn's likes to work then it will stay that way so that I can still go to school heh. At least I could spend the summer trying to get it back under control.
