Ok well they gave me the fleet laxitive and I am still puking from it.  I hope I keep enough of it down, because while I am peeing out my butt, I am still getting debris on the toliet paper and I know that is not good. We will see what the specialist says...
I will cry if he makes me take anything more. end of whine....lol

(((NAVY))) I hate that prep too. I am always able to keep the first dose down, but that is all she wrote. By the time I try to drink the second dose, I am so sick and can't keep anything down. Sure hope everything is clear for you.

Hugs,

Oh, that sucks Navy. My thoughts are with you, good luck. I used Pico Salax last time and it was better than Fleet.

I'm sorry navy! I know how awful that stuff is. I'll be doing it in a week and 1/2, for surgery. There really should be a better way to clean out. Why would they make something that makes you want to puke? Stupid.

I will never take the Fleet again...I peed out my butt too but I got so sick from it. I was literally gagging trying to keep it down.

My Doc mentioned some new pills you can take and have to just drink water with them (or what ever clear liquid) I am using those next time. He admitted he uses them when he preps....

I hope you do ok. I know how we all worry that we won't be clean and then have to repeat the process. I am sure you will be fine.

((((((((( Navy ))))))))))

Were you stuck in the hospital and stuck with this "10 cups-o-puke" prep? I've vowed next time I have to do a prep, I'll be seeking advice here and using, probably, the miralax and gatoraid stuff . . . but if you are stuck in the hospital with whatever they hand you . .. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I sure hope they are able to see what's wrong and get you back home. I'm looking through posts to find a good update from you . . . if you haven't done one recently . . . I hope you'll post here so we can see what you've been dealing with.

Hugs, prayers, and . . .

Blessings!

I took the pill last time and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier. I can't even imagine why they bother with the drink anymore. Everyone with Crohn's needs to know that the pills are available and work much easier. I'm so sorry your going through this.

Hi,

I really hope that this works out for you mate. I have heard a few people, my brother included, advsing that they where not totally cleared out and it was sucked out of the by the GI. (Sorry, I know it is not nice, but it is a fact).

Good luck and I hope that all goes well for you.

They gave me picosalax and it wasn't all that horrible. Don't they pay any attention to what happens to you when you have to take this Fleet stuff? There has to be something else that is not so awful!

Hope you are doing better Navy! Is fleet the phospho soda? I didn't find that one too bad. I hope your not prepping in the hospital. What a bummer! Literally! But at least they could give you an IV to keep you hydrated.

((((((((( Navy )))))))))

Thanks so much for the update. Oh dear!! I didn't know you had surgery . . . again. Do you mind telling what they did and how you are feeling? Sounds like you are upbeat with the "YEAH!!!!" Do you have help at home? How long is recovery?

I know this is probably in another topic somewhere and I did search for it . . . but this board moves SO fast, I'm sorry I missed it. I knew you were in the hospital . . . but was never sure if it was to stabilize things or what. It seems you've either been in the hospital a very long time . . . or you've been in repeatedly.

(((((((((Navy)))))))) Big hugs to you sis!!

Prayers, hugs and . . .

Blessings!
