Hi Guys,

as you know I have had a really bad few days. Thanks for allk the support and advise. I spoke with my doctor today and he has given me Paracetamol(500mg) - Remedeine (20mg) for the pain. Has anyone else ever been given these? They are so strong and the side effects suck. I feels so sick with them and light headed, My eyes are like I am stoned out of my head (I have never done a drug in my life), but hey the pain is going. cry
Anyone else ever been given these drugs as a pain med?

Isn't parcetamol just Tylenol? That won't do anything.
Dx'ed in 1999. No surgeries.

Current meds: 25mg Methotrexate. Udo's Choice Probiotics (30 billion).

Betaine, digestive enzymes, Candicin (oil of oregano capsules), Beta Sitosterol.

Tried SCD, didn't work, now avoiding gluten and dairy.

Yeah, but it is a drug that comes as 1. Not two seperate pills.

I believe one of them contains codeine. That could be what is making you feel loopy.
Diagnosed with Crohn's March 2006
Asacol 3 times a day, Remicade 10mg/kg every 4 weeks, Prednisone 12 mg, Miralax as needed, Prevacid 30mg, Vit B12, Hydrocortisone enemas as needed
Imuran stopped 9/8/08 (possible Pancreatitis)
Paxil 40mg daily (for Panic disorder)
Xanax .5mg as needed (for anxiety attacks)

Hi Julie,

it would be good if the doctor could have advised me that just as you have. Many Thanks

In the UK, paramol has codeine in it as well as paracetamol. The doctor may have misspoken when he told you what they were.

Yeah it works miracles. It is a pitty about the side effects though, I feel like I am out of my head with them. They are really strong, and I hate meds at the best of times.

Hi Gachrons, when I get over this one, I hoe so to. I started to bleed again this afternoon and am so tired of all this now. I was kicking ball with my son and bang it hit the fan. Not much fun, but hopefully they will get it under control for me come the 13/11, then after that I will be ready for the DD.
