Yep ,a very stopped up drain again but this time it was my plumbing,,,my own plumbing,,,like ,time for the ER plumbing. I thought the new med changes had made a diff. but yesterday I got to go back to the ER and become a human pin cushion again. Another kidney stone. Matthew I dont want to be the stone king. The ER doctor said I was very dehydrated. I thought that was very odd because I had been drinking extra water lately. The fact that they could not find a vain and had to use my port pretty much means he was right. I quit counting stones at about 19 or 20 so I dont know how many more I have had but I could have paved the drive if I had saved them all. CT scan shows I have another one to look forward to so I cant say I'm out of the woods for a while either. We have a new hospital here and this was my first time in the new ER. I have a feeling I will know all the spots on their ceiling by heart in the near future too. They still have the same nurses though so we got to chat about the good old days in the old ER. What fun. I wonder if I hooked my whatsit to the air compressor if I could blast that little obstruction out of there ?? smhair

That could be it Rando, like pouring sand down the drain. 30 plus years of stones all come back to haunt me at once. Just in time for Halloween too. The ghosts of kidney pain past. By the way, what are you doing up at 3AM ? Not running fever again I hope..

Hey what's up with you 2 spooks in the middle of the night? Sniper All I can say is thank goodness there not headstones your making you'd have the cemetery full by now. Hoping they pass peacefully and not cause you anymore problems .You might have to start Randy's advice and pray to the stone god. Carefull with the blasting you might send it the wrong way. Did they give you something for pain or is that going to be your Halloween treat for this year? lol gail

Sniper - did they run electrolytes on you? If you have been drinking, the only real reason for dehydration would be electrolyte imbalance. You figure that the drain problem was due to the ghost of stones passed? Spooky!!

Gachrons, pain meds in pill form dont work for me . In fact the stuff they used on me in the IV only took the edge off enough to make it bearable. They always give me codone pills for home and thats like aspirin. Keeper, have not seen the blood work yet. They sent it to my urologist . I am getting just a tad tired of having stones. They sure mess up my weekend plans. I have things to do..

Hi Sniper Mention to your urologist that the pain meds they give you don't help much and ask if he can give you a perscription that might offer some better relief. Any chance it has passed by now? Hope you can get your plans in order later. lol gail

Ganchrons I passed one but one is still there just waiting for the most inopportune moment to strike. I thought it was yesterday while I was pulling damaged sheeting from my shed, but it was just my old body telling me I was doing too much. I will just have to wait for the little @#$@ to get me. Sort of like an ouster making a pearl. Like Forest Gump says, life is like a box of laxative, you never know what the &#!+ your going to get.
