I regret to say that I was lazy yesterday, so now the house is messier than it was 24 hours ago, *and* I have a pile of dishes to do.

I'm still feeling delicate today, so I'm keeping the basic pacts small:

* basic chores - make bed, catch up with and stay on top of dishes, shower.
* get the house tidier than it is. Bonus points if I actually get it *tidy*.
* > 5 minutes exercise
* devotions
* meds

What I would like to do:
* walk down the street and get my book, which has *finally* arrived in the bookshop.
* find something vegetably that I can actually eat, because I'm craving veggies and am sick of mash, purees and soup.
* Sunday chore - clean the kitchen

Bonus points:

* get hair off legs rolleyes
* clean my bedroom mirror
* wash the cat's litter tray
* wash my hair brushes
* write a letter

I have been very lazy today. Here is what I need to do between now and Sunday night:

- Do the dishes that haven't been done since Wednesday (yup you read that right)
- Clean up the house before I pick up my hubby tomorrow
- Change sheets
- Write thank yous to the 5 lawyers I met with
- Work on a budget to start Nov 1
- Do my hw, particularly my employment law I have put off way too long

Forgot to add shower to the list!

I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night. I also take a birth control pill to allow some fun in my life.

It went really well. I posted on my original thread. I think I took so many meds to get through Thurs I felt fine Friday. My interview ended up being 4 hours with 5 lawyers but I think it went well. I only ate a protein bar in the morning and was starving and exhausted after.

Sorry, Fitzy. I must have missed it in the original thread. I'm glad it went really well, though. I find you inspiring, the way you manage to live with this dd, and it always encourages me when you succeed at something you're worried about. :-)

Was the interview for a job, or for research? If for a job, when will you know the results?

My 12pm update - showered, made the bed, done half the dishes. Am defrosting an old casserole for lunch. I don't feel like it, but it is loaded with veggies.

I'm going to have to start cooking some proper meals eventually, but there doesn't seem to be any point right now, when I can't even eat a full serve of anything.

Anyway, back to the dishes...

Ivy.

ps. Jo, how was your husband's birthday?

Ivy - thanks for the confidence. At the same time though, keep in mind that my disease is probably a little milder than other peoples and a lot milder than yours. But each time I do accomplish something it makes it easier the next time. It was for job and I don't know when I will know. Hopefully within a month. The job wouldn't start until Fall of '09 though. Its an after graduation and after the bar job.

I'm glad the concert was great, April. I didn't even know New Kids had regrouped - was this concert a one-off, or are they back properly and recording again?

It's 7pm and I've spent most of today curled up in the armchair, reading and feeling horrible. I have almost caught up on the dishes, though, have eaten lots of vegetables, and have a tidier (though not completely tidy) bedroom. I've also written a longish note to a friend, and tested my mobility by walking to the post box and back.

Sleep well, April. Pommom, I hope the painting went well. Fitzy, I hope you were able to catch up on all those dishes!

April I am jealous! I would have loved to have seen new kids when they came through here but I had a prior commitment. Ivy - I got 3 of the 5 thank you letters done and washed 95% of the dishes. So now I want to do the other two, shower, dress, put away dishes and start really cleaning the house. I have to pick hubby up at 4:45 so that doesn't leave a lot of time.

ivy-They have released a new album but I think the tour is a one shot deal.  I have to say though...not as good as the original stuff!
I'm sorry to see you weren't feeling as well as you wanted but to me you still accomplished alot.  When I'm not well your lucky to get anything out of me! wink

Fitzy-If you were a fan in the past you would of LOVED the concert.  It was nice to kind of "go back". Good luck with the cleaning...ugh! :-)

Well all I've done so far this Sunday is rest. lol

I'll be back to update on Monday pacting!
