Hey guys! Thanks for thinking of us and sorry that I haven't been on. Sierra is doing great! She seen the surgeon today, which went well. He will see her back next week and she can possibly go back to school in 7-10 days, starting with half days. She is very anxious to get back. She still tires easily so the walking would exhaust her. They did blood work today which we should have results in a day or two. He said her blood work from the hospital didn't show any sign of active disease after awesome is that???!!!!!! She sees her specialist Wed. She thinks she will talk him into letting her go back to school earlier?? I'm having a hard time convincing her that she still needs to rest and that this time of the year there's lots of illness that she must avoid. So she is doing good and thank you all soooo much - you are the best!

Thats great news, I have been following your story.

UC since age 22, now 27.  Several huge flares since then.  3/4 colon diseased.
Currently tapering prednisone(10 mg from 80 mg).  Also just starting 6mp again(75 mg) and lialda.   I definately am not liking these drugs.  Maybe surgery one day?

Thank You very much for the update things certainly are sounding good. Hope she waits till the Dr. gives her the ok it takes a little time to get the strength back and shouldn't be rushed too much. So glad to hear that the blood isn't showing signs of disease. Good wishes are going your way. lol gail
