A very close friend of mine has been diagnosed with "Still's Disease."  Brought on by the onset of the Human Parvo Virus".  Please, has anyone here heard of this or have this?  What is the treatment and where were you diagnosed?  Thank you soo much!

Still's disease is a form of juvenile RA...I don't have any personal experience with it but I'm sorry to hear that your friend is suffering! The treatment, I believe, is similar to what would be given to patients with rheumatoid arthritis or lupus...

I was diagnosed with Still's Disease about six months ago. What they have me on right now is Prednisone and Clarithromyacin. I strongly reccommend looking into health and foods. There are amazing things accomplished by being healthy and watching the things you put in your body. I also suggest talking to a credible naturopath. It such a rare disease and I'd like to talk to others who have it to see connections, since it is something you cannot test for.

If the person is younger, it's a type of JRA. My friend, whom has Crohn's, is in the proccess of being diagnosed since it is only diagnosed through clinical symptoms. It's treated almost the same as Crohn's with meds like Remicade, steroids etc.
Current medicine:Humira, Prednisone, Apriso,Zantac, Prilosec, Probiotics, Folic acid, B-12, fish oil, D-3, Zinc supplements, Nortriptyline, tramadol, phenergan,Flagyl, Antivert, zofran, lortab, flexeril.
Previous meds:
- Asacol
-Hydrocortisone suppositorys
- Cantasa suppository
-Remicade( Had reactions/no benefits ):
In current flare since: Feb 2011
