Wow, I don't remember when I was diagnosed exactly, but then again, it didn't happen on a holiday. I won't say happy anniversary, but I will say congratulations, for kicking this disease's butt for 33 years. Way to go girl!!!!

How do you feel after 33 years of the disease?  What lessons about CD have you learned from the 33 years?  I think many members here can learn from your experience.

Diagnosed with CD in 1994;

In 1994 I was treated with Pentasa of no avail.  Have being treated with Chinese herbal medicines for over 10 years.

Thanks guys!!! What have I learned with this disease? To take one day at a time. If I were to give a new Crohnie advice, I would tell them to start a food diary, always take some kind of maintainence med if you can, and as I said above, just take life one day at a time. I have learned more on this site than I have in all my years with this DD. And I am so grateful to have made so many new friends who truly understand what it is like to live with this disease on a daily basis. May God bless us all one day with a cure.

Hugs,
Gail *Nanners*

Thanks Randy...now that's sticking in my head...wasn't that the flintstones????

My "anniversary" of CD dx is 8/30. I always remeber because I was supposed to help my nephew move some stuff to his college dorm.
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
I'm riding on the escalator of life....
