last night and today i have a had an odd sensation in my legs. its almost like when your foot goes "to sleep" on you and tingles, but not nearly as intense. its almost as is I'm going to have a leg cramp, but it never does.

any thoughts?

Pins and needles could be due to a pinched nerve. There are a couple of other possibilities. Are you on metronitazole or cipro? They both have a side effect that results in peripheral neuropathy. You need to talk to your doctor if you are taking either of those drugs (or any of the quinolone antibiotics) about the tingling. Diabetes also can have the same effect on peripheral nerves. In any event, I would be talking with your PCP unless you can pin down the cause pretty quickly.

Hi Cinpro, I also wonder what medications you are taking... could it be a side effect?

So you've only felt this in your legs? Never pins and needles sensation in your fingers? Get checked for your B12 levels and your potassium levels.

:)
My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it! LOL :)

Gail,
a sitzbath with epsom salts and water as warm as I can stand it once a day. ( feels so good I wish it were twice) P-H cream with pain relief when I'm not home.

legs are not as tingly this morning, I was up several times in the night with a otton mouth, and drank a small gatoraid each time.

is it posable(sp) that I'm really dehydrated?

Hi Have you had alot of D lately to make you dehydrated? Wouldn't hurt to get extra fluids into you. I did a post on Anusol for hemmies and it is great I find it is clear and doesn't have the smell that ph H has . lol gail

Hi Cinpro, sorry about the mucus, I always have that with a flare-up, too. I'm glad that your legs are feeling better. Was your doc able to work out something for you today?
