I've had this test twice as well. The first time was easier than the first, but I think it had more to do with the procedure it self and not so much my CD. The first time I was sedated when they put the tube down and I didn't really wake up until the very end of the test. Barely made it to the bathroom before all of the liquid they put in needed to come out. The second time I was sedated but woke up much earlier in the test. I was hurting, trying not to start pooping all the liquid out and shaking. The second time they put me in the CT scan machine while I was still holding in the fluid/contrast so it prolonged my agony. By the time the test was completely finished I was totally awake. I almost didn't make it to the bathroom! It was probably the worst test I've had during my experience with having crohn's disease. The next time my GI recommends it, she is going to hear a big fat NO!!!
